About Me
Laura DeBraccio (Osa) graduated from Stony Brook University, receiving the designation of Summa Cum Laude and a Bachelor of Arts in Sustainability Studies. Finding her niche in the Sustainability Studies Program helped her understand the complex environmental issues that we face in modern times.
Laura currently works as a Human Resources Specialist 1 at the NYS Department of Agriculture and Markets. Although the Water Bottle Station Project has concluded, the project continues to be one of the few studies nationally that studies refill stations in this manner.
The Water Bottle Station Project observes the water refill stations located on Stony Brook campus throughout a confined time period. As Project Manager, Laura studied trends for 53 water refill stations and how they impacted the Stony Brook community. This website is intended to display the results of these data collections.
